The New York Giants started purging their roster on Sunday, releasing 10 gamers 48 hours forward of the league deadline to pare down rosters from 90 to 53 gamers.
Head coach Brian Daboll introduced that defensive lineman Timmy Horne suffered a torn Achilles on Saturday night time. Horne was injured on the primary play from scrimmage in Saturday night time’s 10-6 preseason loss to the Jets.

Horne was a backup alongside the road behind Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
Horne, 26, was an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State again in 2022 by the Atlanta Falcons.
The Giants signed Horne off the Falcons’ apply squad final December.
