South Africa’s first black freediving teacher, Zandile Ndhlovu, is devoted to exposing underprivileged youth to the ocean world.
Dubbed the black mermaid, Ndhlovu says she desires to diversify ocean areas as a result of they’ve traditionally excluded Black, Indigenous, and folks of colour.
By means of the Black Mermaid Basis, she facilitates snorkel excursions for kids residing in Langa.
