“Around the Reservoirs” is a traditional loop from Morgan Hill, very typical of the surroundings close to lots of California’s inland coastal valleys. Should you climb as much as the foothills West of city, you run into Oak Glen Ave which takes you previous Chesbro reservoir. It then runs into Uvas highway, and heading south you go Uvas reservoir. These are a part of the Santa Clara County Water district’s efforts to maintain our Groundwater recharged. These are all lovely nation roads, calmly trafficked on a Saturday morning. I added in an out-and-back on Redwood retreat highway. It was an invigorating exercise.
GPS doesn’t present my return from Gilroy to house as a result of I by chance put my watch in “indoor mode” for that leg.
