Discipline Hockey Ontario is happy to welcome Connor Lawrence to the FHO Group! Connor is becoming a member of the FHO Workers Workforce as our Officers Administrator & Program Coordinator via the help of the Ontario Trillium Basis’s Group Constructing Fund. The Group Constructing Fund helps working amenities and delivering packages for Ontarians by hiring new employees, resembling Connor.
Because the Officers Administrator & Program Coordinator, Connor’s main duties are as follows:
- Oversee the Recreation Plan database
- Collate database of umpires and guarantee information are up to date/maintained, to incorporate evaluations
- Coordinate workshops, programmes and occasions for umpires and umpire assessors
- Work with the Umpire Supervisor to manage official appointments for the OUA, OFSAA, Ontario Video games, Could Meltdown and different FHO sanctioned occasions
- Ship communications as required via e-mail, web site, social media, conferences and boards
In 2020, Connor graduated from Brock College, incomes a Bachelor of Sport Administration diploma. Prior to now, Connor has held positions with the Toronto Blue Jays as a member of their Activation Workforce. Moreover, he has labored with the Welland Jackfish as a Sport Administration Assistant in the summertime of 2021. Only in the near past, he joined the Niagara IceDogs as a Social Media Intern for the 2021/2022 OHL season.
Not solely has Connor performed hockey his total life, however he has participant soccer, baseball, soccer and lacrosse as properly. Whereas hockey is his favorite sport, he loves taking part in and following every kind of sports activities. When Connor isn’t working, he enjoys hanging out along with his mates, going to hockey video games and being energetic.
