Police have arrested 4 folks after an intense automotive chase that went from Auckland to Hamilton.
A police spokeswoman stated a car that was reported stolen was situated by police in Greenlane simply earlier than 10am on Sunday morning.
“The driving force didn’t cease for police and fled,” she stated.
The Herald understands the automotive, a blue Subaru, obtained on the State Freeway 1 motorway and was travelling at speeds of between 160 to 180 km/h southbound in direction of Hamilton.
A police Eagle helicopter tracked it because it travelled from Auckland to Waikato.
“The car was efficiently spiked by Police in Hamilton,” the police spokeswoman stated.
“The car was situated on Ellicott Street after it crashed right into a wall.”
She stated all 4 occupants have been taken into custody and there have been no reported accidents.
